Flattop .357. I picked up the GF straight from Ruger. Hammer and trigger are from Clements. Grips and fitting of all parts as well as reblue by Gallagher. Leather by EPS. Will try to get out and shoot it today.

Robster, Luv the birdhead Flattop. Hope it shoots as good as it looks. I have a birdhead ASM 32-20 at Turnbulls getting some work done but should have picked up a Ruger instead. Maybe I'll save up over the winter and try to find a 41 mag to give a similar treatment to. Let us know how she shoots.....RW

I think we could say that one qualifies for "Perfect Packin Pistol" of the year. Just beautiful, thanks for sharing. bb

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately I was unable to get to the range yesterday, but today is the day.......I hope.
As far as the PPP, I threaded my belt through the holster to get a feel of how the gripframe was against my side, and I was rather suprised at how unobtrusive the gripframe was. when I moved and the GF pushed up against me, I still really did not feel it because of the lack of sharp edges. This seems like it will be a great packin/camping/hiking/woods bummin model.
