Pull this off an old thread. Some of the new guys might appreciate the illustration of the modification that Jack performs on the heavy kickers.

Would you guys happen to have a photo of a grip extension he does on a BFR? Also, I'll take a look at his website for pricing but do you have a ballpark of pricing, if you'd mind sharing?
Thanks,
John

how much did that cost for the BFR? I would like to have the same done It is $325.00 or $350.00 now, I believe. This grip extension differs from the original topic of the modified Bisley grip that Axe was talking about. Tim, that looks outstanding!!!!! Can't wait to see the finished product -- gorgeous grips too! Here is the modified Bisley on my .45 Colt: And the one on my .500 JRH Bisley:

whitworth--that bisley .500 JRH is beautiful. when I get done with my long range big bore rifle, I may consider sending my .500 jrh off to jack huntington

So looking at Stan's drawing and Steve's pic, why can't you re-use the existing grips? They appear larger than the finished work. Or does that have to do with the extension? I've never noticed my BFR grip feeling too short.
