Yup, that looks fast! You need to keep the camera rolling longer, cover more drills, see more shooting!

Before I sent my timer down to Dick, I disabled the slow motion feature so it would just look like he is shooting faster than he really is! . Steve

Dick and his longtime friend Brent were out having some sixgun fun in the desert today, and Dick proved he's still got it! Heck, from the looks of that shooting he's not only still got it, but he just got more of it! Way to go Dick, looking good!! CaryC, I think that may be a S&W 610 shooting .40S&W loads.

Yes the gun is a 6" 610 using 40 S&W ammo in moon clips. I've shot this gun a great deal & even though its heavy with a full length underlug I get along with it pretty good. A lighter 4" L frame or K frame would be quite a bit faster especially for young guys. What a lot of people might not realize is that you can shoot live ammo faster than you can dry fire, the recoil actually helps you speed things up. You still have to pull the trigger & do it in a hurry but thats what makes it fun. I made a total of 4 runs but for some reason we only got the last one on the camera, the first run without warming up was a 2.23 seconds, 3 shots on each target. The second run we didn't get a time or a photo, run number 3 was actually the fastest, coming in at 1.89 seconds & then the last one that we finally got on camera was a 1.97 seconds. You can see the timer hanging on my left rear pocket, I had it on a 3 second delay so I could tap the start button & get ready to race.
