I found what I thought was a good buy on a model 94 stainless Taurus 22. The hammer spring is so heavy that it is hard to cock and has a heavy trigger pull. I thought I would just order a Wolf spring kit for it, but they say they don't recomend it for this model. Anybody else have this problem and know if there there is any cure for it? The checkering on the hammer is deep and sharp and tears your thumb up cocking it. Thanks for any help. Ron

Not farmiliar with Taurus. If it has a coiled mainspring you couls cut a couple coils off to lighten hammer. I am wondering why they say not to use Wolff springs?

I can't be much help other than to confirm that the few Taurus 94's I have looked at all had a really heavy trigger pull, it's not just a problem with your gun. It's peculiar because any Taurus in .357 I've looked at had a nice, smooth pull.
