Yesterday my Wife & I went to a small gun show in Wisdom about an hour & a half from our house. Hank Williams Jr. was there he had a table & we got to talk for about 20 min. he is very personable & enjoys talking about guns. He is a Colt SA fan among others, & had several of his personal Colts on the table all authenticated to him. Wish I'd had $3,000 to spend there was this nice Bisley .38 WCF Ivory stocked with a Colt letter to Hank. It was worth the trip to get to meet him & talk to him even though he was kind of busy as we can imagine.
My Wife even got a couple nice pictures of a Bald Eagle on her nest on the way home. Hope your Sat was as interesting. Just thought I'd share. Frank

Frank, very nice report. In one of the Lyman handgun manuals Hank Jr. did some of the load development. Like you said, he's very knowledgeable about the single action colts, think he has a neighbor that goes by "Duke" Dick

I got to meet Hank at the NRA convention the year it was in Nashville. He had a table with some original sharps rifles, colts and a lot of Rugers. Met him one more time at a gun show if Franklin, TN. He was walking around looking for new treasures. Real nice guy. Bill

Wow, what fun! I heard that Hank had some knives made up for his Ranch Employees. One of the Employees hawked his knife at a North Dakota gun show and my friend snagged it... Carl

I met him at the Louisville show in March. He looked over some S&W revolvers I had, pointing to my 6.5" 1950 Military .44 Special and said "That's a rare one!" He was incognito and we chatted for only a minute before he went on. I enjoyed meeting him immensely.

I've always liked Bocephus. He seems like a real person instead of being worthless like most celebrities!

The Wisdom gun show is one of the best, the whole town is involved. Ranch hands come in, the streets are lined with tables. Glad to see Hank made it there too.

Buddy Al has his old 500 linebaugh. I shot a cow buffalo with it a couple years ago.

Some time ago I had a Winchester 1892 for sale and recieved a call from Hank Williams Jr. At first I thought it was a friend playing a joke but it really was him. We spoke about guns for awhile and he was a very nice, down to earth guy.
