2013 was good for me and shooting. Retiring in 2012 and going to work in a gun shop and shooting range was just what the doctor ordered. I cut my insulin down 50% for 12 hours on the days I work the range. Shot more in 2013 than I shot the last 20 years combined. Pulled the handle on my Rockchucker and Dillon 550 quite a few times in 2013. Expecting to double shooting and loading in 2014. Got to get it in my head that, while I can have a few, I can't have every desireable gun that passes through the shop. Picked up a NRA certification to teach pistol in 2013. Planning to get certified to teach rifle and shotgun in 2014. Haven't been in the woods to shoot anything since I got out of the AF in '74. Haven't shot a Bullseye match since 1996. 2014 just might be the year! Happy New Year!

Sounds like you have a plan. Many people make a big deal over New Years resolutions. Most discuss weight loss. I plan on weight loss myself,,, the loss of several more pounds of cast lead slugs downrange! (Of course, like most folks who lose a few pounds, I'll likely recover a few pounds myself!)

Stan, Hope it all works out for you. It'd be nice to see you post a few on the hunting page. When I get a chance, I'd love to get over and see the rest of "The Set" and have a cup of coffee. Who knows, I might even be able to take a few home with me, again. You know you need to keep 'em rotated.
