We've had a few threads of custom Bisleys (and those threads have cost me sleep and money!) but not too many on just the plain-jane stock Bisleys, and, in particular, the Bisley Vaqueros. So, let's see'em! Just the plain, every day out-of-the-box Bisley Vaqueros. Here's mine, a .357 Magnum large frame Bisquero. The target was shot at 50 yards with a 180gr Oregon Trail cast bullet over 6gr of Unique in Starline brass. Not too bad for fixed sights and a generic load

I don't have any great pics, but I'll contribute what i have handy on my phone! 44 44 45 45. The little guy moved on, but to a good home. The big guy might move on too, but i need a Bisquero because someday, oh some day, I'll have it bored and stroked a little!

I shot black powder cartridge rifle silhouette for about fifteen years (until I lost the vision in my right eye). They had side matches for black powder revolvers (fixed sights, single action, and black powder or substitute). The pistol matches ranged from silhouettes to score matches. I really got into those after I bought the Ruger Bisley Vaquero pictured, here. Using the home cast Lyman 452664 bullet ahead of a case full of black, the .45 Colt is a serious load. Alloy is important, bullet size critical as is a good black powder lubricant. Accuracy runs about 2" at 25 yards and about half that with smokeless. I won a number of matches with this revolver but my best day was at Friendship, IN (home of the National Muzzle Loading Matches) when I won seven of eight score matches (my lone defeat was at fifty yards where I only managed a 92x100 to place second). Naturally, I have "feelings" for this fine piece. It is the only fixed sighted revolver I've shot that shoots to the sights at 25 yards with a full load: FWIW Dale53

One of my favorite guns. Owned several but not now, still looking for the just right deal on one. They are getting a little scarce. Those are beauts!

Your stock bisley looks a lot better than my stock bisley! Great looking revolver you got there!

I've got a "few" stock Bisleys, but digging them all out for a photo op will take time. But, there is one,,,, old "sixshot" found out he liked. It shoots small groups for him. Looks a lot like the one above.

I am embarrassed to say I don't have a stock vaquero bisley. Every one that shows up seems to get sold or transformed.

Mine won't be stock for long, it is going to John Gallagher for an octagonal barrel and rechambering to 45 Colt with Turnbull case coloring this Spring.

I am embarrassed to say I don't have a stock vaquero bisley. A great moment in history! I have a gun that king6 doesn't! I might dig mine up just to take a new pic and celebrate the moment!

I said I dont' have a stock bisley vaquero. I never said there was not one in the safe! There is an original sized bisley vaquero in 44 mag in there just waiting for the final payment from the buyer then it goes to its new home! I guess this one is still 1/3 mine.

I'll edit my previous statement: I own 2/3's of a gun that king6 doesn't! or I own 3/3's of a gun that king6 only owns 1/3 of!
