I have a Ruger NM Flattop I just received back from a custom gunsmith. One of the things that was done was a trigger job. The trigger job was acceptable until lately. Now the lightest thumb pressure drops the hammer. This is the 3rd gun from custom smiths that has done this. The other 2 were returned and fixed, the only thing it cost me was shipping one way. As we all know that is more than a few dollars.
So my question is, Will the SBH hammer work on these new Flattops? I was thinking about swapping out the hammer and trigger myself, 1) as a way to avoid shipping costs, and 2) a project to keep myself busy.
Any thoughts?
