At a garage sale the other day I picked up a Heiser 903 pocket holster with button tab. It's in really nice shape except for a small oil stain and at one time someone wrote their name in small letters on the bottom edge. I'm not sure but it looks like it would be for a 4" colt .32 or other small frame DA. I figure these should be getting collectible but can't seem to find much info, any idea's. Thanks.

Thats interesting just left a friends house and he showed me a Heiser Flap holster that was made for a 7.5in.Colt New Service.I would like to see a picture of the holster.I happen to have a 4in. Police Positive in 32-20 that would go with that holster.I will check back with him about Heiser history and post what I learn.

Heiser is classic holster maker based in Denver. according to Packing Iron by Richard C Rattenbury, Hermann H. Heiser came to the US From Saxony in the 1840's. his company became one of the real powerhouses in gunleather into th 1900's. pages 181-191 are all Heiser. I got the book thru Amazon a few years back. It's a must for anybody into handguns.

If you do a shearch you will find some info. Heiser made the earlier sheaths for Randall knives. I have sold a few in the last few years they usually bring good money. Depends on the gun.
