I remember somebody on the forum having Veral do them a heavy .32 bulllet?
Fowler?
Who was it? Pics & info?
I'd be interested in info from anybody casting for a .32.
The sledgehammer is coming but...
Thanks

Yea that was me, I had Veral make a heavy 120gr gas checked bullet set for max length in a Single Six cylinder and he did well. A loaded round has about .015" of clearance to the end of the cylinder if the bullet was to jump some, but it not really an issue with 32s. Anyways it doesnt shoot spectacular with mild loads but run moderate to heavy loads, especially with H110 and it will prove what the gun is capable of. Its the bullet on the far left

I will have to check but think that is one I have. I have a 140 PB from one of the group buys on cast boolits from some years back. 45 2.1 drew it up just from my description. He could not have do e a better job if I was looking over his shoulder. When it finally came to be lee dropped the ball on their end. Nose was not correct. I think everyone involved kept them as we waited well over a year. None the less the thing is an excellent shooter out of my buckeye with the 32-20 cylinder. Will take ihmsa rams over at 200 no problem no wobbling or anything of the sort. I just need to get a deer critter to cooperate this fall. FYI 296/110 was my powder also. Slightly compressed. Jeff

Lee got a group buy mold wrong? Say it ain't so...
It seems everyone ordered the mold designs as they wanted them and Lee made the molds as they saw fit, yea a couple of Lee group buys was enough to keep me away from any more. I much rather spend $150 with Veral and get the mold I want in a few weeks than wait a year for a group buy and have it messed up and not near the quality LBT produces.
Illmget off my soap box now...

Thanks guys. Exactly what I was after.
Axe, Will that bullet fit in a Single Six cylinder?
I think I need to find a javelina this Winter to try one out on.
Fowler, sent you a PM.

Fit in a Single Six? I honestly don't know. I'll get busy over the next few weeks and find out. I bought the mold for the 327 in a Blackhawk size frame.

Fowler. This was about the 4th or 5th gb I was in on. The first 3 or so were excellent. Then lee started getting hammered with orders. Orders went up and quality bottomed out IMHO. I never had and probably never will expect much from them. However I see they have re thought their standard offering design alignment pin ideas. I know a lot of folks swear by lee stuff a d am happy for them. They just have never delivered as far as I am concerned. You get what you pay for. Jeff
