Thank yous to Mr. Garza for the front sight, Steve for the wood which there's even prettier stuff still in what's left. Kelye for the base pin, I don't think he gets enough credit for the products he provides. Details for the 3 screw 357 sent to Alan Harton with the following are as follows: Power Custom #5 steel grip frame Power Custom bisley hammer and Blackhawk trigger 2 Dogs front sight Belt Mountain non Bowen #5 base pin Fancy walnut from Steve Came back as a six inch eight shot 327 magnum loooong steel ejector rod and housing, damn near puts the empties in your pocket CCH by Alan's buddy, not Turnbull fire blued trigger and screws, not nitred. It's more subtle and gorgeous This thing has a lot of steel for a small bullet, but it feels wonderful at the end of my arm. Mr. Harton said and I quote "This is one of the most accurate guns I've ever built." He used 100 grain Gold Dots which I'll duplicate. Can't think whyt not to. He was excited about building it so that made me even more impatient to get it. The wood from Steve has multiple grain patterns on the inside so it reflects light both light and dark colors at a few different angles. The CCH doesn't have any blonde to it and I'm happy about that. Sometimes CCH can get "cartoonish" looking but this is dead on. The fire bluing is ever so slight and some parts look as though not done though theye are. This is the first time I've ever held a #5 frame and there's no pinky wrap, all fingers wrap the front. I can't wait to pop some full soda cans with this.

That one is very, very nice! To me it makes so much more sense than a 475 or 500. You can shoot that one all day enjoyably and economically. Congratulations.

Is this built on a large-frame or a medium-frame (357 OM)?

Nice! Dunno as I'll ever be able to afford a nice custom piece from the masters, but I will own a .327 BH one day.

Nice! Dunno as I'll ever be able to afford a nice custom piece from the masters, but I will own a .327 BH one day. I saved my pennies for quite a while and found a nice used Harton Flat Top 44 Magnum. Pretty darned close to what I'd have had done if it was my own custom job. Just got it this week and can't say enough good things about it. Going to post a pic in the other Harton thread.
