I've got a 2013 Para USA Expert Commander. Forged steel slide, forged aluminum frame, very well put together, tight and accurate enough to make me work harder to obtain results. Since last weekend I am up to 200 rounds of hardball through it (new pistol to me) and am well pleased thus far. One factory mag is iffy, tother works correctly. Two failures to go completely into battery early on, and a couple of failures to feed the last round from the one suspect mag. Otherwise, works like a charm. I will post again after another 3 or 400 rounds concerning reliability and accuracy.
Aesthetically, I am planning on changing a few things, aluminum trigger to replace the plastic factory piece. Ambi-safety 'cause I'm a southpaw. Beyond that are plans to fit some retro parts to make it more closely resemble an early Colt Commander.
If other parts beyond those mentioned either need attention or fail, then those will be replaced with higher quality aftermarket stuff. 1911s are typically a work in progress unless one spends a great deal of money on a bespoke pistol. Under a certain price point, ALL 1911s are loaded with MIM parts, regardless of manufacturer or country of origin. Ya pays yer money and takes yer chances......

I have carried a P-13 for 12 years, great sidearm. I did add a Wilson ambidextrous safety and mag release...
