I use a number of LBT molds in different calibers. I have a RCBS and a Saeco sizer and have a problems with both sizing bullets off center. Many bullets end up looking like this one... In a recent post someone mentioned having the same problem and recommended the Lee Sizer. I wasn't familiar with them but picked up several for different diameters and must say I'm very impressed. Bullets go thru straight as an arrow and the size is spot on. Here's an example... I spray the bullets with Hornady lube, run them thru the Lee and then thru the Saeco or RCBS to lube. Adds an extra step but well worth the effort. Many thanks for the recommendation.

I was looking at a Saeco the other night and thought that it may be better than the RCBS considering it had the 2 rods for alignment. I suppose it suffers from misalignment as well.
FWIW, my RCBS is new, so the misalignment issue isn't from wear.

Yes it works. I do it too.
A Star sizer will do the same thing in one step, but costs more.

Many years ago, I bought a new RCBS lubesizer. Right out of the box I noticed it would sheer CB's...and would do it with different sizers and calibers. Come to find out the top was not aligned with the bottom. Sent it back, they sent me a new one, which was fine and I've used it for over 20 years. I do like the Lee sizers as well. They make custom diameters to, which come in handy if you're doing paper patching.

I had a machinest friend make flat punches for that fit my 44,45 and 475 bullet meplates,I put a dab of Alox on tips of bullets to help them slide to center and all of them look like pictures. I then started sizing them with Lee dies first also. Only thing that has bothered me about Lee is buying production molds "475" and needing to pay extra for a "custom" sixer die.
