Found a 1968 mfg. OM Ruger BH 357 today at a gun show. The gun was sold as "un-fired" and did indeed appear to be. It has the box (a little rough) and the instruction manual and warranty card. Dan

Awesome score! Looks brand new. The gun and the box sure teleport you back in time. Beautiful. Is it a prefix serial number or is the SN all together like before the 68 regs?

Thanks for the comments. It is a non-prefix serial numbered gun.

Ya, I wouldn't have a hard time believing the unfired grade. They don't come much cleaner than that. So the $64,000 question is whether it'll stay NIB. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

It shot great out to 75 yards with both my hand cast loads and Hornady XTP's. Seemed to shoot 38's pretty good as well. Dan

Thanks Frank..I intend to.
I could not agree more Lee. When I told my wife it was made in '68 and had not been fired, she said "that's sad." We went right out and gave it a work out.
