A friend asked me to make him a matching gun belt/holster for his 1911. Not having done one before I had to make one for myself first, then make adjustments and improvements for his. This is my first project of this magnitude and completely hand stitched, many hours of labor. A sewing machine is definately in my future, probably when I get to the trade show in Sheridan this spring.

I second that sir, leather craft is not easily done, especially since it is tooled, the pattern being correct and fit to your liking is a hard chosen accomplishment, kudos's to you Sir!

Very nice work. I like the traditional design, and the hand carving is better than most. Spent many years hand sewing, finally bought a Tippman Boss, have never regretted it. Still hand sew bullet loops.
