www.realguns.com/archives/152.htmI bought one several years ago on a whim. I had my dealer order it after flipping through the Accusports catalog and noticing it had a full stock. Always been a sucker for a full stock anyway. The only thing I did before ordering it was to make sure I could find dies, brass, and bullets for it since I had never actually seen the round before. Anyway, I love mine. It's always nice to have something "different" than what everyone else is shooting.

I almost bought a sporterized Mauser 96 in 9.3x57. Somehow the local Cabelas had like 8 or 10 of them, a couple were actually quite nice and priced at under $400. Of course I talked myself out of it when I couldn't find dies in stock anywhere for less than half the cost of the rifle.
But all of them were sold by the end of the month....

That is a really sweet rifle! I've sold a couple and would love to have one in 6.5x55. Saw one in that cal at the range last summer. Chap was willing to let me try it too but I was already on my way out and was late. Regret that decision now.

I took a CZ 9.3x62 to Africa, twice. Once to Namibia and once to Zimbabwe. Its a great round and the CZ is a great rifle. Mine was the full length American model.

You're going to make a grown man cry, Mr. Taffin! I particularly like the full length, Mannlicher style stocks on the rifles. Some of the ones I've seen had eye-popping, gorgeous wood. And for the money, they're very tough to beat!

Here's my prettiest 9.3x62, a Blaser R93 stutzen. Here's this year's elk with it's ugly brother in 9.3x62 And last year's elk with a 9.3x74R in a Blaser K95 single shot. It's a handful in a 6.5lb rifle.

The forend is in 2 pieces so you can remove the front of the forend with the octagonal stutzen barrel attached and put a regular contour barrel in place with a regular forend.

Wow. Schnabel and Mannlicher in one. Never seen that before! Ahh yes, the old Schnabellicher, not to be confused with Schnabel licqueur or anythind else your mind might dream up! Those really are some gorgeous rifles above! Y'all surprise me sometimes with your fancy taste and sophistication. ;D
