Yep. A couple It's an amazing cartridge! I used to do a LOT of killing with rifles so I tested just about everything you can think of at some point. The 50 BMG does not impress me on deer by the way. 378 is MUCH more graphic. 50 was kind of dull. My all time favorite do everything gun is still the 300 WBY though.

The biggest caliber I have shot a deer with is 338 WM. It was indeed graphic. I bet that 378 is EPIC!

10-4, Fermin.... the .338 Win Mag is a great deer cartridge----talking lung shots and avoiding bone as much as possible. The .378 Weatherby is more like a recoiless rifle with the recoil. And not a rifle I'd care to poke a deer with while hanging off a tree climber or ladder stand. Nor the volume of recoil I want from a tracking rifle----unless the animal tracked happens to be a tank with fur on it. David Bradshaw

My buddy eventually took his rifle and had a brake installed and took the pretty stock off to preserve its looks and used a synthetic stock with the most effective recoil pad I've ever seen. The recoil of that rifle is less than a 30-30 as its set up now. The blast is tough but I don't shoot without plugs anyway so it's not a big deal
