Nice job. Been wanting to find one of those for a project gun myself. Keep us posted on the progress.

I like that. I have a 94 Winchester that I did a similar job too a while back. I am looking for a 336 .35 to do the same too.

That looks handy. Is that a Skinner rear sight? Frank

Frank that is an XS for Marlin 1895. I have several Skinners on guns and like them also.

Good carry size, I like it. Nice big front sight for my old eyes.

I like it just as it is. I would love to have one just like it, old worn blueing a big plus...

NECG has lots of options to fit the ramp. I went with a good size brass bead.

Nice project rifle 35 rem should be very effective. If I remember the SC's have short mag tubes but the RC's have a nicer forend with the barrel band. Good hog gun. Have fun.

I really like that Gary. It's all business and the old 35 Rem is quite a round. Those NECG bands are also a nice addition. In fact I just added one to a .50 Alaskan I'm building. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Pretty easy to do Carl. I used a hacksaw then a PTG 90 degree cutter to even everything up. The a 79 degree cutter to cut a 11degree target crown. I turned a couple of brass mandrels in various calibers. All hand tools were used. I measured the barrel diameter and ordered the sight with the closest ID. Used the portion of cut off barrel as a swag to fit the barrel band.
