I'm laughing at the number of dies on LM SR's bench. Wow. Each time I look at a gun of a different caliber I think NO. Looks like he's never thought that.

Lee,
Who makes (made?) those brown "tool boxes" on the bench. Recall an uncle that had a few and I would like to have a couple for the bench.

The change was made and here's what I get now. Still not a hundred percent settled in but it's a far cry better

I always see lots of nice bench pictures... but this is the 1st time I've seen a bench with more loading dies than are on mine

I like to reload on the porch, the back stairs, right at my range, etc., usually with a cup of coffee Otherwise, I use a Lee turret and clamp it on the kitchen table that I built to be extra sturdy. I'm still building the interior of my place so I don't have my set up done yet. My loading area will be in the corner of my ground floor bedroom that is next to a side door which goes right out to a narrow 100y shooting lane. It will all be built-in with 2" thick laminated wood like the way I did my kitchen shelves, also painted the color of the walls but with sliding or roll-up doors to keep all the clutter out of the way. I will be able to load, take two steps out the door and shoot. Here's that door

Alukban that's awesome. Is that a Ruger Scout?

I'm impressed you could tell so easily I'll be able to shoot "prone"... from my bed once I'm done!

This is a good old thread. I've downsized somewhat from a room of reloading stuff and a bench to a kitchen table. Here's the set up from yesterday reloading 44Mag. The brass in the tray is 500JRH which i was trying to clean without using my noisy tumbler(apartment). It mostly failed. Might shop for a sonic cleaner, if they're quiet. I'm working on a better set up.

We are building a new house on our five acres. I call it "out the five". Prior to building the house I built a shop to store material as we build. I'm playing the builder. The shop is 40 x 60. I've sectioned off a corner in the back that is 22 x 12, 8 feet tall with a mezzanine on top. The perimeter is lined with steel behind the 5/8 plywood and the studs are 12" on center. The bench I put in pics in 2012 has been a disaster. Too much stuff in a small space and being in a corner was a bad idea. Take what you learn by living in it and make it better next time if there's an opportunity, and there is. Here's a shot of where I am now. One bench for tooling, one bench for loading. I'll get better pics as the project advances. One coat of Rustoleum epoxy paint is dry, will get the final on next week. I filled the concrete gaps with sealer so when I drop a screw or whatever I should be able to find it.

Congrats on building. We built last year and although I have “more room”, I have found a way to clutter it up.
