A Ruger LCR 38 +P has been added to the party here, since last posted to this thread. Am liking it for pocket or belt carry. Around the house in a Carhart T-shirt pocket. The LCR is a great carry gun, nice & light. |

my first public use of a snub was at a mainly sport/olympic shooting stand. 90% .22short sport shooters, standing dueling position, etc._
not only was I out of place with my brand new chief's (god forbid!).38, but it was pointed out to me that it was a stupid gun to shoot, because at 25 meters it was no match vs. target pistols.
so I walked to within a foot of the target, emptied five into it, then explained that I had to have a short barrel because I lived in a small house. I left before they kicked me out_
