I caught the tail end of "Kelly's Heroes" while I was turning off the covid coverage on the box. Watched about half an hour and tried to name all the actors. I did pretty good. I waited for all the credits to roll so I could see the ones I missed and the name Hank Williams Jr. rolled past. Are you kidding me? 1970, here it is. www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxXql0Y5nOY

Been running back and forth to Hospital in Erie, PA. Hopefully wifey can come home today. Crappy weather here. M-M hope your Wife is doing well and she is home. Linda's Sister texted her a photo from P-burg, PA today with all kinds of snow on the ground. All we got here in GA was wind and I mean wind, big gusts.

Off to Clovis to help the kids get the house ready to pack up for the next stage of the life in the A/F journey. Remington is flying back with us then he and I will head to Hell’s Canyon to try and find him a black bear and both of us a turkey or two. Should be a fun couple of weeks.

Our threatened/promised well at least on the forecast, rain, disappeared. So shopping anyway ! Doh ! Wife has the hots for a mini-chainsaw. I have NO idea.. I'm blaming FaceBad. All the cool gals that wanna play in the yard 2 weekends a year want one I think. Stihl came out with one and promptly blew it. Sold off and back ordered to next millenium. Market now flooded with knock offs. By the time Stihl gets product back out, that itch will already be scratched. A 4" bar can only cut thru 3" stuff, ya some round and round work can help, but this really only a pruner. I'd not even call it good for limbs. I'd like to stick to Ryobi as my 1st baby steps into battery stuff theirs and proving good. My stuff 40V, 4AH though. These tiny saws 12-20V. I'm thinking a sawz-all type recip tool would be better, but not what the cool kids wanting right now. Grrr...

Anniversary 3-day weekend. We both took off Monday from work. My first actual vacation day since I started the new job 2 years ago. Weekly neck-cruncher appt, followed by a rich lunch at Red Lobster. Num. Never visited them before. Tonight: Chinese dinner with friends, and I'm going to help him get his metallic reloading set up. Snagged him a press, powder measure, powder scale, brass, bullets, dies, etc, etc, so he can get some ammo made for his new-to-him 6.5 x 55 Swedish Mauser. He's planning to hunt blacktail deer this fall. I told him to sit near the apple tree on our old property and wait for the biggest blacktail buck I've ever seen anywhere.
