Family coming over today for picnic. Will try social distancing as much as possible. Haven't had a whole family get together since before Christmas. Need it
This weekend we were supposed to be in Disney for my youngest daughter's wedding. The virus put a stop to that. New plan get married locally in July and celebrate in Disney next May. Not a fan, but my daughter is a fanatic.

The trials of the times. My one and only child was scheduled to marry 6 June. USAF report date bumped up because of the virus thing bumped the wedding up to last weekend. The party continues. My biggest concern now it WHAT will be GOTD...

Dan Norwood built 45 Hardball gun. Built for what the services and the DCM once called "Service Pistol" and "Excellence In Competition" (EIC) matches. The DCM became the CMP, the "service Pistol" became a 9mm, and a pretty watered down set of gun requirements followed. This gun is made to shoot the issue 230 grain "hardball" load. We'd go to the line and ammo would be issued on the line.
Gunsmiths knew, from extensive testing, that the kart 45 barrel shot wadcutter better than the Barsto 45 barrel. The Barsto shot hardball better than the Kart. As you would think my hardball gun has a Barsto barrel. Wadcutter guns from the same guys have Kart barrels. So far as iron sights go.. Only the best. Means Bomar on both guns.

National Match (IMI) slide on a Caspian frame. No beavertail safety allowed at this point in time. Barrel locks up like a properly built gun should...
