Just got back from watching the sunset over Lake Dorr in Mt. Dora Fl with my wife and grandson. Then we took him up the road to feed some ducks, where my wife promptly started a duck riot with some stale bread. Great times!  |

We had our first hard frost of the season here in Fairbanks, AK. The overnight temperature was about 29 F. That might get the bull moose to start thinking more of romance and get more careless and more importantly, make the cow moose more trampy in their behavior. Win win! yup, better than last week for sure. I casted up about 25lbs of .512 440gr boolits this morning, washed windows for the wifey and just got back from the range. Been working up some 454 LilGun loads in nickel starline brass a guy gave me. Got to just under 1400fps with 355gr out of the 4" redhawk with 27gr. I like the 25 or 25.5 gr load at 1300ish better though. Started to get some crimp jump. Now the wifey is gonna make me cook up some apple pancakes from scratch. |
