I wish....that one belongs to Bunny Burkett. 64 years old and still turning 270 mph in the 1/4. She's a pretty amazing story. Started racing in Northern Virginia in 1965, won an IHRA World Championship in '86, almost died in a crash in '95 (they had to revive her 3 times and she was in a coma for 28 days), and still raised a family along the way. Kind of an unsung Shirley Muldowney. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Lee, There is nothing that substitutes for the smell of burning rubber and grapette smelling racing fuel. The rush of 500+ horsepower peeling your cheeks back when you side step the clutch and cut a perfect light is as close to heaven as you can get on this earth. Well.......It's at least as close as the Brown truck just delivering your latest Bowen project to your front door....almost. BB

Lee, There is nothing that substitutes for the smell of burning rubber and grapette smelling racing fuel. I agree. Not the healthiest sport however......breathing that stuff can't be good and my ears have taken a beating driving and/or being around drag cars. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Especially at Bristol. Bill
