I HAVE DECIDED TO START WORK ON "BOOK OF THE .45" THIS FALL AND WINTER. IT WILL COVER ALL THINGS .45: SIXGUNS, SEMI-AUTOS, SINGLE-SHOTS AND LEVERGUNS. MANY OF YOU HAVE ALREADY SENT PICTURES. IF ANYONE ELSE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE .45 PICTURES AND INFORMATION ABOUT THE GUNS PLEASE SEND A CD TO ME AT 6410 W. POMONA RD. BOISE IDAHO 83704. CAN'T PROMISE TO USE THEM ALL NOR CAN I SAY WHEN THE BOOK WILL BE FINISHED OR HOW MUCH IT WILL COST. ( I HAVE 70 CHAPTERS IN THE OUTLINE) GOOD SHOOTIN' AND GOD BLESS,JOHN TAFFIN

Great news JT. Once a last 45 project comes home from John Gallagher I'll put some 45 stuff on a CD and send it over just for grins and giggles.

I have to go along with the rest of the guys that is fantastic news. I am not certain if you are looking for orders at this time however. Would you be able to put me down for 2 hard cover books. One for myself and the other for Christian? I will send along a few ordinary photos as well. Nels DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT ORDERS YET. I HAVE TALKED TO ONE PUBLISHER AND SAID HAS TO BE HARD COVER AND COLOR. |

Full color, hard backed and a BIG size for the ole' coffee table John... I can't wait to read it. Please keep us posted on your progress and good luck on the book this winter... and let us know where we can get an autographed copy of it once it's published!

Great news! I'd buy at least three in color and hard back. One for the coffee table, one for the reading room, and a spare to keep in the safe until the other two wear out ;D
