Which bullet of theirs have you had the best luck with in 500L?

I don't have a 500 LB, so I can't help. I have used thousands of their bullets in .44, .45 and .475 -- they are excellent.

So as the auction ended early, who ended up with it?

Very nice revolver. Everything goes together well on it, and I like the grips as well:) Nice score

Which bullet of theirs have you had the best luck with in 500L? I have found Montana Bullet Works to be a Great source to go to...I Like there 445 Balista Cast swc/k/gc....with Trail Boss or Unique, Hs6, and h110...Cast Preformance 525 with Unique or H110 fwiw...Nice Catch you have there...By the way be careful or you will end up wit more than one for various callings such as a need for a 4inch, a 4.3/4 for others and of course a 5.5 inch as you have started with ;D

I use their 400gr lfn with or trail boss for a fun load, and love their 440gr lfn for full house loads. Their bullets are typically just a few grains heavier--but the 440's have run right at 461gr both times I've ordered them. The orders were months apart, so think his mold and mix just throws them heavy. I love them though.
