Here is the link to a new unfired TLA Improved #5 in 44 Mag I placed on GB. www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=297146917 The gun just came back form Alan Harton where he went through it, checked everything and hardened the internals to the proper hardness. The gun is relisted with a $300 lower start price and no reserve. It needs a new home! I would be willing to LOOK at a type 1 357 flat top as partial trade or even any interesting 41 caliber guns. All I can say is no thanks so do not be afraid to PM me if you have ideas.

Somebody hurry up and pretty-please buy the beaut of a six-gun. Harton hardened and all.
I am unsure how long I can resisit and it would put a big dent in my five-gun budget--so, someone, help a brother out. Or maybe Robb you could be kind enough to offer a sale on a brass Bisley to keep me distracted.

Yikes! JT's "A a pair and a spare" rule keeps popping up in my head...

I'm surprised it's still available. $2,400 for a likely unfired TLA is a deal. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Sorry Will, those two guns are pretty content for now. I am resolved to not break up "The Set" as Axe calls it of the quest guns until the last one is in hand from Dustin and I can take a group picture. Once that happens, all bets are off and who knows what will happen with some of these guns. Remember guys, for forum members there is always a payment plan option.

Beautiful gun! I didn't know they made left handed single actions!! The loading port is on the left side of the gun!! (I know I know, its just a backwards picture!).

Actually, TLA did make guns with the loading gate and EJRH on the left side, didn't they? It was actually for right handed shooters, as you could leave your firing hand on the grip and unload the gun with your left.

Backwards picture? Now I like that! Fresh Meat! The only reason I can think that this one isn't sold is I think that in the last few years we flushed out a bunch of TLAs that were stashed back and may have a temporarily flooded market. Flooded the few guys who knew what they were and had a few bucks available anyway. All that said there aren't that many in existance and based on what I've recently watched them sell for this one is cheap enough to buy, shoot, and easily get your money back selling it.. Heck we could get Alan to bore it to 45 Colt! Now Robb, tell me what makes this one unlike the ivory gripped one? Help me justify buying a spare.. No, not the "Pair and a Spare" Rule... Something good.... I've got some 41 bore stuff I could trade!

Identical guns Stan only with this one, a guy gets the fun of firing the first round since it left the factory. Send it to Alan for ivories and man what a pair a guy would have.

Thank you to whomever just bought it. I was breaking down and getting ready to call Robb and say fine, ship it. Congrats on the sale.
If it had been a 45 colt, I would have jumped--or heck even that 41mag Flattop target--haven't held that gun in years. I still have a hard time passing on these, even though the 44 mag #5's are outside my present tastes.

PTL.... I knew if I fanned the flames just right someone wouldn't be able to stand the heat and would snatch it up! Almost had time to start on my trade list... 41 here, 41 there, here a 41, there a 41, everywhere a 41! I get to keep my Harton custom DW 414! Yeee Haw!

Yo Hammerdown77.. I've got one you can hold... This one needs some company... Doesn't it? Yup, that shore is purty. You need to have your own gun show! That's one I might actually go to...
