I agree Sack. So it appears all Super Dakotas were either Jager or Hammerli (with Jager being early-on, turning to Hammerli say in the 1970s). I was told that Uberti also made Super Dakotas for Intercontinental Arms but I'm skeptical of that now. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"

Now I’m having some thoughts… There’s a lot of ads I read over the years and they don’t become important or have context until some years later.
I do recall a bit ago having seen what was no doubt a Uberti Buckhorn platform Super Dakota by ICA. At the time I said hmmmm, and promptly went on to something else. These models would have had to have been mid 70’s. That’s probably a sensible explanation for any Uberti Super Dakotas.
Edit to add – I may have this old annual review book with this ad in my messy basement. I will hunt around for it.

That's a great lookin' single action.
I'm guilty often times of "over lookin' an orchid while lookin' for a rose."
Looks like you found the orchid.

This one is a Jager. I wish it were a Hammerli...(I am partial to Hammerli SAs)
