RpR I've got nothing but disdain for those who kill like that. I have seen videos that are real so I've seeen proof, at least I believe. I quit asking "What the hell do you want that for?" a long time ago. That rifle just looks to me like a mid life crisis or a penis extension. I own PLENTY of black rifles, it's not that I don't think they have their place. Sitting on the bank on a picnic bench in Swainsville Georgia at Will's hunt/fish camp shooting box turtles at 175 yards with a Shilen barreled 204 black rifle cause they eat the specs is something I wish I could take everyone here to do. That Turnbull rifle is just too damn arrogant, IMO.

It is just that you were the last of some who made, to me, bizarre statements about a simple rifle. I have no great love for color of the receiver but see not one thing wrong with that- to me- beautiful stock. The case hardened receiver to me is still at the same time- no worse- than what is being sold as Damascus steel framed 1911s, which are neither Damascus steel nor attractive. (I will not even go into pearl handles, silver guns, engraving etc., etc., etc.) The whole thing is, if Turnbull's offering is what some have wanted, go for them and him. I see nothing wrong with it that deserves some of the remarks made. |
