Brown nosing nothing..............................Lee and his Dad have almost unearthly skills....................not just guns, I very much admire their hotrods too!! Guns and hotrods are both an addiction.I have that problem, but the guns are cheaper.I got rid of several of my guns to support the hotrod addiction, but still short on funds to support the hotrod. I sold off my last rod last year. Much easier feeding this habit. ;D

Mike, really like that blued vaquero--simple and sweet. Thanks, I copied it from one I saw at a Linebaugh seminar. 5" barrel with full length ejector. John talked me out of case coloring the frame but I'll send the hammer out one of these days. Which linebaugh seminar did you see it at? One of my old ones from Gallagher was at one of the TN or IL seminars. Neat gun just never shot it. It was case hardened with scalloped recoil shield and loading gate with dovetailed front sight....very simple and effective!

I do have pictures of yours saved though from when you sold it. One of the prettiest guns I'd ever seen.

So true.I am building a 1948 Anglia with a 737 inch Sonny Leonard Hemi in it.Engine cost me more than my house did! Sounds like a handful, but my kind of handful. Sonny power and that short a wheelbase should make for some interesting launches. Definitely keep us posted. A close friend of our family owns this '33 Willys. It has a 605 CID Hemi with two stages and like your Anglia it takes balls to drive. It usually goes straight, but when it doesn't hook you're all over the wheel (standing at the starting line I've seen the doors at 45 degrees more than once). Hot rods and drag racing are total money pits though. Makes gun collecting seem cheap. I hate to think about how many other customs I'd have if I got out of cars years ago. Then again, no gun has ever matched the adrenaline rush I get from a long burnout. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Building carpal tunnel one round at a time"
