Mike, really like that blued vaquero--simple and sweet. Thanks, I copied it from one I saw at a Linebaugh seminar. 5" barrel with full length ejector. John talked me out of case coloring the frame but I'll send the hammer out one of these days.

Why did he talk you out of case coloring the frame? Mark You know, I'ts been awhile so i'll have to ask him next time I talk to him. Its not that he wouldn't do it he just wasn't really high on the idea and I was ok with saving $300 at the time.

Yup... Absolutely no doubt I need at least 12 more of these beasts. I don't have the acquired taste for a vaquero based 500L but do recognize an octagon barreled 500L weakness in my set. Of course if we count my .500 bore revolvers I look a little better. Throw in the 475L revolvers and we may go over!

Guns and hotrods are both an addiction.I have that problem,but the guns are cheaper.I got rid of several of my guns to support the hotrod addiction,but still short on funds to support the hotrod.

.................there is no cure for either.............and I don't much want a cure, 5/6 guns are I can afford right now........but that sweet sound of a fuel hemi sure does sound good with these almost deaf ears ;D
