I have a love/hate with the birdshead grip frame as well. Looks great. Carries great. Doesn't shoot as well for me.

I love the look for Rugers birdshead, but they just feel a bit funny, although I shoot them just fine. Was in a shop last year looking at a little 3.5" Colt SAA 45 with stag and birdshead and liked the grip as much as a plow handle. Wouldn't want to shoot 465gr 500L loads with it, but for colt safe 45 loads, it was quite nice. We'll see on this one when I get it.

I may just have to bore it to 45 and have a bisley frame fit to it. Maybe even send it to Reeder for some bling-bling.
