Last weekend, a friend from New Mexico showed me this Single Six, which was substantially modified by the late Bob Loveless (better known for his knives). Despite years of use, it's still mighty pretty. The action was as smooth as any Colt I've handled.

That sure is nice. I really like what he's done with the adjustable sight.
Bob's knives are stellar. He's one of the ones who started it all with the customs.
Do you remember if it has his mark on the revolver? It's a naked lady and would say "Loveless Riverside".

Mr Loveless was written up at least twice in gun magazines for his custom mods on the high $ S&W target .22 auto pistol. The front sight on your SS looks perfect. Jayhawker Bob

This is a tease - WE NEED MORE PICTURES!!!
I really like it, what was done to the grip frame to "antique it"?

The gripframe was anodized olive drab. The sights were from a S&W revolver and a Remington rifle. It doesn't show in the pic, but the ejector rod was, I think, from a Colt. I don't recall seeing any nekkid ladies on it and I think I woulda rememebered that.

That is a cool little shooter. That barrel length on a Single Six handles so sweet.
So, what is the mark on the hammer spur?

Excluding the olive drab (on a blued & CCH sixgun? ) that is about the prettiest SS I can remember. Love the front and rear sights
