To late Whit. I spoke to Jack Huntington last week and he gave me a few ideas on converting one of my Vaqueros. Thinking about something in 50 caliber.

The new spring in the BFR seems to have done the trick. I shot 40 light Trail Boss loads and 20 remington 405 grain loads and didn't have a single miss fire. All the strike marks in the fired primers looked deeper and more uniform as well. Seems to be problem solved. Thank you all for the info.

Same here buckheart. I shot about 70 rnds out of 2 BFR's and not a single FTF. Normally I would have several. Problem seems to be solved.
