I just noticed the serial number. I have a penchant for SN 11 guns. Wish I'd worked something out with you before you sent it off....

Well, five weeks later and my Laredo has returned from Bowen's Classic Arms, all chamfered and flutey. It was a very simple request, but as expected, exemplary work was done by the craftsmen down there in Louisville, Tennessee. After I shipped it off, I was beginning to second guess my decision. But now, I'm not a bit remorseful for having had it chopped up a little. It suits me. Oh,cubrock.....since no accurate manufacturing records exist, I figure if I hadn't posted the before pics nobody would have been the wiser!

Very nice. I was skeptical of that change before you shipped it out. Ye of little faith though....I should've known with Bowen doing the work it would look spot on. -Lee www.singleactions.com

I really liked it before but I think I like it more now. Very nice.
I keep thinking I will stumble on to one of these but I have yet to ever lay eyes on one (outside of pictures).
Thanks for the update.

Looks great! You are correct re: the lack of factory records. Sometime down the road, that gun will probably be considered all factory correct.
