Just wondering, I've read articles in at least four gun magazines about the New Frontiers, but I have not seen one yet even on the auction sites, are they just slow in production? I have a burning desire to own one in 44 Spec. w/5 1/2 inch barrel.

Wow. Not shy about the price are they? I read that the firsts will be out in 5 1/2 .
I'm hoping ruger comes out with a 7 1/2 mid-frame as well.

Unless I read JT"s latest article in Gun's Magazine wrong he has a 7 1/2 inch 45 on loan now for an article on the Colt's, and say's IT'S NOT GOING BACK!

I see there are no bids. Doesn't say what the reserve is. Heck hit it at what you want to pay & see what happens? Frank

His Buy Now price is about MSRP on these. I've seen them sell for that, especially since this current crop is mostly 2 digit guns. There will likely be a day down the road in which we'll wish we'd bought those 2-digit guns for $1500.

I have had mine for a while now. Serial number NF20020 Cost less than twelve. I'm sure they'll come down to that range eventually, but they are so hard for dealers to get right now, that most are milking it. I'd like to have SN NF20011, but I haven't had any success locating it.

I did not need a Colt at all.
I have a whole pile of stuff I did not need, but I have.

He has listed his reserve as 1549.00... I'll have one some time in the future but the 500 Linebaugh comes first. A man has to have priorities ;D.

Reading the "article" describing the firearm, etc., the reserve is 1549.00, more than I have in my piggy bank at the moment, guess I'll have to wait.

Hmmm I dont need a Colt that bad.. Ill just keep wearing out Keiths and Taffins books. and shooting my function first Rugers I bought a 7.5 inch 44 Special NEW FRONTIER back in 95...new or like new with no box...and excess end shake...never shot it in 7 years. It sure was pretty, but that's all. Younger brother is a COLT fan and he can enjoy it. I've had some minor issues with RUGERS, but that is because of HIGH round counts.
