These no longer appear on the STI website. There were several articles in the gun magazines about them a year or two back. I wonder if anyone has ever actually seen one and how many were made. The quality supposedly rivaled Colt and USFA and they were priced accordingly.

I never saw one for sale. I was hoping they'd bring it out in .44 Special or .32-20. Woulda bought one.

I sent an e-mail to STI International asking What is the status of the STI Texican availability?
Waiting for a response.
RESPONSE Received!
Unfortunately, we are no longer making that pistol. I apologize for the inconvenience.

That was one of the articles to which I was referring. I'm just wondering has anyone outside of a gun writer ever seen one, much less bought one.

Saw a couple trade hands up here in Canada.
The reviews were pretty positive from the buyers.
Haven't really heard anything since.

I wonder why they stopped making them. My guess is either they didn't sell enough or they where too expensive to make in house. Taurus also gave up on the Gaucho pretty quick too.

Sti did not make them. I'm thinking that who ever make the Taylor's sa made the sti sa.

STI made them, but they had to outsource some of the parts...expensive undertaking...the ones I handled and shot were superb.I believe my partner in Down Range TV bought his T&E gun...

One sold on Gun Broker over a year ago but there has not been any listed on Gun Broker since then.
