I finally did it... my Scout is now free of the chinese LER scope and fitted with a low slung Burris Scout. Hope to range it tomorrow with some 168 grainers and see if I did ok... In a similar vein, my CETME now wears a crappy Tasco 3x9 (for now) and we'll see where that leads... and I have some 154 grain 7.62x39 to test. Wish me luck!
