He is breaking the law and, I hope, will get nailed for it.

It doesn't take much to break the law anymore. It is my experience that if private citizens were held to the same standards as most businesses we would all be in violation of some law or regulation. Until he has, in reality, declined to train someone because of the reasons he stated then all he has done is talk. After hearing his ad why, if one is an Obama supporter or a Muslim, want to take his class? Unless one is wanting to cause trouble. We have a local gun shop that has a sign on the door stating that nobody wearing pants or shorts that are hanging below the waistline and displaying their underwear is allowed in the store. I have heard many stories about the owner throwing those folks out of his store. I've seen signs on sport shops that state no cursing or horseplay allowed. Should these businesses be "nailed" for their policies? Where do you draw the line?

He has a right to his opinion. And he also has the right not to give the Texas CCW instruction to certain individuals based on their religious or political standing. But, in taking that stand, he will be giving instruction to no one at all because the state of Texas authorizes him to teach the class and now the state of Texas will pull his authorization to teach the class to anybody. I'm with Boxhead on this one.
