At least Axe clears up the toe fungus before the photo shoot...
Congrats and enjoy!

Congratulations Daryll!! Nice pistol. Ain't it gettin a little chilly there? You shouldn't be walking around in your "bear" feet! :-) Now we just need pictures of targets and a range report.

It's not wise to make fun of a man's feet while he's holding a DE.
Let us know how it shoots.

Never played with the DE but I can tell you from fiddling with revolvers that the 50AE cartridge is no slouch! The taper crimp brings on a bullet weight limitation but that is it.... P.S. While a good dose of Nair might take that hair off your feet I'm thinking hair spray and a cigarette lighter...

dmize, it looks like you've learned a lot about fifties and feet hanging around here.

Well I think I have heard that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery............. ;D. At $34 for 20 at the local crack house,I orderd Dies, brass and Ranier bullets from Midway this morning. Will post a group pic when I can. I will say that outside of feeling like it has 2 inches of takeup it has the sweetest factory trigger I have ever pulled.

To be honest it was kinda "Axehandelish" how I was able to get it. A very good buddy of mine ended up with it in a trade, called me and asked if I was interested in it. I traded a Bushmaster Flattop Varmit straight across for it. If it were not for him I would still be waiting a very long time.

According to the diabetes counselor, hair on the feet means good blood circulation to the extremities, so you have no worries there. The 3 toe thing might be something else though. My son has a DE in 44 magnum, and it's a fun one to shoot at the range. It kicks more than I expected it to, but it seems to be very easy to hit with.

dmize, Nice one....I've shot the DE 50s and enjoyed them. The trigger on the one I shot made me appreciate my NIB NM Rugers. Glad your trigger is a champ. The take-up is part of the package....kinda like Berettas and CZs.
The guns I shot were pretty hard on the brass...ouch!

I have noticed the gouges in the rims on the ones I have shot,I guess I will just carefully hit them with a needle file, tumble them and hope for the best
