...and no, it's not one of mine. A gentlemen contacted me and asked him to help him sell his. Unfired, all-blue (and nicely plummed), and he's asking a very fair price.
Email me for pics and info.

Aw, c'mon... please post the pics! Even if we can't afford one, I'm sure me and the others would love to window shop anyway!

Forgive my ignorance but what is a TLA?

TLA stands for Texas Longhorn Arms which no longer exists. Bill Grover started the company in TX and he build several different models in what was going to be limited numbers but health and business decisions brought about the demise of the company before that happened. He was probably best known for his version of Elmer Keith's famous #5 revolver only with what Bill thought would be some improvements sush as 44 Mag versus Elmers 44 Special and his most unique feature of all his guns was the loading gate being on the left side. Here is a picture of one that I used to own.

Thanks for the tutorial Robb. Those frames look like they'll fill the hand up. Nice guns!

Well, remember that base gun that I was looking for to build my #5? Well I changed my mind on what use, I went from a .357 OM flat top to a .44 OM flat top. After several months of searching I found a good candidate on Gun Broker and should have it in hand mid-week. Not as cool as your score but it is a major milestone in my build.
Now I need to get a barrel ordered and get to whittling it into an octogon.
