Evidently there is and you can run standard .480 pressures without an issue. It's a smaller frame but not a whole lot smaller. There is the real rub, not really much smaller or weigh much less. probably just better to go with a large frame Vaquero and pick your caliber. add an aluminum gripframe,add a thin walled barrel maybe some flutes to the cylinder and loading gate and call it good. Exactly.

You boys really want to know? buy the .475 on the rugerforum so I have some working capital for next year. The base gun, a New Vaquero with an XR3-RED and C Shultz Black Micarta is already in the safe.
