Quick question. Anyone have experience with the 454424 bullets in a lever gun? will they work with the action or is the nose too flat and wide? If it does work with one which one? I am thinking about getting a 92 trapper.

I have used that bullet and the RCBS-255-SWC, RCBS 270-SAA ect. in a new current production Rossi /Braztech model 92 and it fed all of them with no issues. This is the first model 92 that I have had that will feed them. My Miruku Winchester and older Rossi guns would not feed these. Action on the new Rossi/Braztech is very smooth compared to the others, and trigger is nice as is also. Hope this helps.

I have an older 94ae in 45 colt and the 454424 seated in the crimp groove run through it fine. This is one of the last guns before w-w went belly up.7.5 of w231 and sized .452 shoot great. Six gunner john
