Guys I listed a really nice old model SBH main frame over on the RF that would be perfect for projects like ribbed barrelled 45 etc. It includes the loading gate parts and a rear sight set. There are even Good Ole Boy terms! www.rugerforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=1277949#1277949

Ouch! And these boys been collecting octagon and S&W ribbed barrels... There should be plans churning in their heads!

Yep, there is a nice non fluted cylinder too for that tight 45 conversion. Snag a bisley gripframe from Brownells and a hammer and trigger set from Ron Power or David Clements and all the parts are there for another cool custom for set on the cheap!

And you almost had me going there.. Now how does that go..., "Fool me once, shame on you.. Fool me twice, shame on me!" You know that I've already got all those parts sitting in my safe because you sent them to me! Still one fine opportunity, and there are extra barrels sitting in the safe. John's got maximum cylinders. I've got time. Let's give the boys a little time to make their move before we cut a deal. You got the pins that were in that thing?

Sure, I'll toss the internals less the hammer and trigger in for that price Stan.

Yeah, you and I both know who is going to end up with this one. The rear sight pin looks to high for flat topping but just between the two of us this FT craze is a fad. As soon as you are at the range playing and want to shoot a little farther than you have a front sight set for with a FT you'll get to see the rear sight wobble and quickly understand why the ears came to be. Give the boys the weekend to snap it up... I'll start looking for a few bucks to send you...

Good Thing that Brownell's has the carbon steel Bisley grip frames back in stock huh? Guess I'll have to see Clements about another OM Bisley hammer/trigger set. Got those S&W barrels in the safe. Didn't you send me an OM 44 Cylinder way back when? How about a tight chambered 45 Colt? Might be a good time to send a pair of Bisley grip frames to Cary C for something nice... Just like Christmas!!! Now this is the kind of planning that has to take place before some Ruger Forum perp will snatch that thing up!

Gee. How did I miss this?
Let me know if it falls through Robb.
My meager parts bin has one of those Gallagher barrels, you know.....

This "perp" frequents both forums. I've been watching it since it was posted. But Axe gave me that last push.

You mean both 'perps'?
I can't complain. I try to swing through here daily.
Just the burden of being a little slow....
