I remember really really wanting one back then, but have never actually seen one and cant find one online anywhere. Is this one of those things that never saw the light of day? Think it would make one nice little hunting auto with the right loads.

They make so many different models, but I don't think I've ever seen one quite like that before.

I used to own a Witness in 45acp.
Very comfortable gun & a natural pointer. I just didn't like the D/A to S/A transition. Other than that it was a great gun.

EAA still catalogs the Witness Hunter on their website. Not terribly different. Available in .45 ACP and 10 Mickey Mouse. You still get the 6" barrel/long sight radius & adj. sights - just without the compensator (for those of us who don't need to compensate for anything!) Looks like it would be an outstanding hunting auto.

I used both EAA Silver Team and Gold Team guns when I shot competitively, great guns, very accurate and dependable. Back in the bad old days they used the least expensive hi-cap mags around.
Mine were in 9x21, .38 Super and .45 ACP. The 9x21 was REALLY twitchy pressure wise but damn was it accurate.
