The work looks good and I know the pistols go bang when the lound switch is pressed..........but...........if they just werent so inherently ugly................=)

I like the shorter grip frame, so as to accept g-23 magazines. I did this to my wife's Sub 2000 as well. I am hoping Lone Wolf will make their own version of the G-22 slide length/G-23 grip frame.

I sanded the grip with course sand paper by hand. Then worked with scotch brite stoping with the green pad. Then I got a wood burner at the hobby shop and used the rounded blunt tip to make the texture I liked. Kinda like scribbling.

Well it looks just like factory. Very good thinking on your part,and very well executed!! That made me think of the Missouri Highway Patrol,they orederd "rough grip" Glocks,they ended up rubbing holes in road Troopers uniform shirts,and since their weapons cannot be "modified" they had to unload the ENTIRE bunch and replace them with smooth frames,at a cost to Missouri tax payers.

I had heard that about the rtf glocks. They would rub a hole in your shirt and rub your arm raw. I did not put up with it that long.

Groo here I wish they would go back to the original smooth grips like the 2 pin gen 1's. never had a problem .
