Picture it with a nice set of Ground Hawgs or Buckshot Mudders and a 4 inch body lift!

It'll get some new tires, but it's already high enough for me to drag my fat a$$ into!

You'll want a high lift jack on the rear bumper. Helps you become un stuck, use it like a come along and adds some meat to the wimpy/nonexistent rear bumper. I love jeeps. I want another, but they are really so impracticable and uncomfortable...But I still want another.

I need to take the top & doors off, I'll maybe run it with a bikini top (which also came with it). And it needs tires, and a winch on the front.

So is it a macho faux pas to admit I want one of the new four-door Jeeps?

So is it a macho faux pas to admit I want one of the new four-door Jeeps? I think they're cool! Don't forget the wench in the passenger seat! Of course not!

One thing I like about this one better than the CJs I considered: I can run the seat back far enough to fit behind the wheel!

The post CJ Jeeps do get a bit more civilized. Comes in stages though. Actually the CJ7 got it started. The Yuppie Jeep (YJ) made a big move to toward civilization. Some hogwash about lowering the CG. I understand that the coil spring TJ adds a little more niceness to the ride.. It is all in what you want. My fondest Jeep memories are of a V8, detroit locker, and a T18 4 speed in a '79 CJ5! Planning to make some new ones with my current '74 6 cylinder CJ5...
