Has anybody used bullets in the 308. was wanting to use some Missouri bullets. I used how did the work.

Meant to say have you used lead bullets in the 308.

I think those are intended for 30-30's,so if you kept velocities at cast bullet 30-30 levels they should probably work.which should be just fine for low cost practice work. If your wanting to really shoot them your going to have to go to a harder alloy gas checked bullet. If nothing else just ask Missouri Bullet,I have spoken to the owner a couple of times,seems like an upstanding guy and I dont think hes the type to lie to a person.

I haven't tried it in the .308, but I have been told that 10 grains of Unique in front of a cast bullet is a good starting point.

I used 15gr of Unique in 308 and 30-06 , around 1800 fps no wad need since Unique is not placement sensitive . Great plunker load or small game load.
