Those would probably fit but I bet John would pass on the job due to the pressure of the rounds you listed.

What is the pressure level of the .41 special?

I think 38 special is 17k. I would assume this would be less due to thinner cylinder walls and smaller frame. Taffin has an article on the 41 special but the gun is a larger frame.

Wouldn’t a 10mm work? I understand a 10mm is higher pressure but it is smaller in diameter compared to the .41. I’m thinking a 10mm kept under 1200fps would keep the pressure down and would have more common components.

Axe, that 38 special you posted on the 5 shot thread was what got me thinking about a 38.
Anybody have insight on doing that on an old model as opposed to a new modl like Axe's?
Of course you could just sell me yours!
