Now that's neat. I go broke shooting my 50 BMG.....I could only imagine what the "per shot" cost is on a 20mm. -Lee www.singleactions.com

One question - what's the muzzle blast like?

I have neighbors a couple hundred yards away. I was trying to be a good neighbor and we only shot it with the suppressor. In fact, most of the rounds were loaded subsonic and we werent even using hearing protection. I'm trying to get the video uplinked but I'm a computer idiot. 1300gr pill going subsonic wasnt an issue with the can. The same pill going 3000+fps makes a nice boom when it hits the sound barrier even with the can. Muzzle blast isnt an issue at all though. Then can takes the recoil and the blast.
If you look closely at the bullet I'm holding, you notice the tip screws off. We put two 50cal pyrodex pellets in one and shot a piece of steel. Made for a great video with lots of smoke.
I put my hat and a bottle to give an appreciation for how big these rounds are. The tip that screws off is over 1/2" long itself.

Just... WOW!! Even the compensator is HUGE by itself! Ignorant question time. Do you reload those rounds yourself and if so, on what kind of press? I mean, it looks as if you'd use a shovel to get the powder into the cases! I can't imagine them fitting even RCBS's 50 BMG press. I think you need a roof mount for the Jeep. Imagine the fun you could have rolling down the street with that 135 lbs of tank-killing death on top! How DO you tote that around, anyway? Does Anzio have any plans for a semi-auto in the future? ;D Max. P.S. The pictures with the Jeep & you holding it are TRULY impressive! As long as the Jeep and a good bit taller than you. Give some great perspective.

Have BMGs become common place now and this is the new next step in big bang for the buck. It is fascinating.
I shot Kent Lamont's solothurn at a Linebaugh shoot and the most peaceful place to be when shooting it was behind the trigger. Is this one similar?

That's the coolest gun Ive ever seen (that I even thought the government would ever let me own) !
I can here tonight's dinner conversation " but sweetheart its only retirement money, we can work until we hit 87,... I will let you shoot it first!" ...On second thought, any chance of renting yours for a shoot or 2?
